Popular Science does it awe, threaten or inspire?
Popular sciences sometimes awe us but sometimes it threatens us as well. We live on a world where science is needed. Science it is very important for us because it is required for our function, it is necessary for our evolution.
Now days we see a lot of films coming out which make us fear and also threats us by it context. I do not like science fiction movies, but the movie Avatar by James Cameron make me think in many ways. Science has being revolutionizing day by day and we will never know if what is now a movie on the future can become truth. On this movie Cameron shows on a part of the movie human being selfish and trying to destroy everything that is on their way to reach their perspectives. As how I analyzed this movie is we humans sometime are very egotistic and destroy full of the things God gave us. We do not take care our nature the way we are supposed to, probably if we would we not have to depend on science the way we do now. It opens the human consciousness and makes us see how a movie can turn into realness in a future.
Also the movie 2012 by Ronald Emmerich was a great movie that in parts of it shock me. I think this movie just make me see myself not probably two years from now but in a future, that this can happen in real life. We have being experiencing so many nature changes that we cannot rule out that this can happen. I do believe that severe science is a wonder because it deals with authentic reality. These movies were so well created using special effects and futuristic scenes extremely well designed that make you believe or at least take in consideration these ideas and create a fear in our mind.
